We have made it! Our team is at the Cove. We are settling in and making temporary sleeping arrangements as we get ready for the campers.
The team that flew in got oriented today and enjoyed the land and all that is here. Today we did our safe people and places training. Highly important when working with vulnerable people. Essential for running the camp.
We had a bit of a rain storm to end the day. The mosquitos are out in full force tonight. Pray for tomorrow as it’s our first day with the kids. Expecting at least 20 campers. Maybe more. Always ensuring at least 2 adults are with kids at all times. We are here to serve and be a blessing.
