The team has finished its work and is now at the Thunder Bay airport to return home. We spent the last couple days to see around Thunder Bay and also clean all the different spaces we have been in.
Thursday we finished off and had our dinner, left snacks for the staff as well as encouragement cards.
Friday we started the day with closing out our time with the staff - reflections and review from the week. We thought it was great that they change up the games each time the play days happen. But it’s a lot of work. Later in the day we went to Sleeping Giant PP and the Terry Fox monument. A little bit of downtime before heading back home.
Saturday was a trip to Ouimet canyon and also the Amethyst mine. Meal times have been “how do we get rid of all the food in the fridge.”

Sunday we met up again with Bonita who returned from the northern community. She said it was really good to connect with them in their times of trouble it built bridges with them and they did some really important work. We went to Redwood Park Church with them and then out for lunch at Burger Barn
